Hi, I’m Kate! I’m so glad you’re here 🙂
I’m the writer and editor of So Well, So Woman. I’m originally from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. After obtaining my degree in Professional Writing in 2016, I immediately started working on breaking into the exciting world of online journalism.
You may have seen me over at sites like Greatist, PopSugar, Thought Catalog, Bust or AlterNet. Or perhaps even on my political blog, Only Slightly Biased (since closed). After writing in the political niche for a while, I discovered my truest passion lies in discussing women’s health and healthcare issues.
So began the life of So Well, So Woman! Being a millennial woman in today’s day and age, I hope I can bring a unique voice to the reproductive, sexual, relationship and mental health issues that young women are facing growing up in today’s culture and political climate.
So Well, So Woman will ideally be the voice of the future — tackling those pesky stigmas, taboos and cultural controversies related to all the truly wonderful things that make us female. I hope you find the content here fun and fearlessly feminine, but also trustworthy, reliable and resourceful to your everyday lives.
You can expect to see new posts go up every Tuesday and Thursday morning, and the newsletter will go out every Friday morning. This may vary some weeks, but my goal is to be consistent here 🙂
